Although the gender role seems to be changed, the stereotype between women and men is not changed yet. Sometimes we see that the media use the words like that the person who nurse their children is women, not men. The media sometimes ignore men who care their children. Therefore he irritated against the media's behaviors. He may want the media to consider the men who nurse their children because the generation changed.
It is very true that the media shows that the person who nurses their children is women, not men. The media shows us these ideas because they're too lazy and have not experienced this role. I also agree on how the media ignores men who takes care of their children. This is a very hard thing to do but they just ignore them. The media should give credit to a man like Braiker because he did a very great job on watching his daughter and he also knows every single detail of his daughter.
Her comment is very interesting. I believe that the stereotypes hasn't changed. He is annoyed at the media for their articles on how husbands are being changed by their marriage are being the Mom of the family. Great comment.
Braiker is really irritated by the way movies and magazines portray parenting. They show in movies and also in magazines that only the moms watch and babysit their children's. Braiker disagrees on these because he has experience that kind of life and that he really loves and cares for his daughter. He spent more time with his daughter rather than work and that doesn't mean that he's the mom. He doesn't want people to think that only the moms can do this but that the dads also can accomplish this job.
I believe that Barry's comment is true. Braiker doesn't think that only women can accomplish the types of jobs but that also dads can as well. To Braiker, he is having fun but he doesn't want people to think that men should be recognized as a Mr. Mom.
I think that it irritates him because the magazines show or talk about men who do the work around the house or simply, what a mom does. They start encouraging men to do the work in which annoys him. What's at stake for him is the fact that it entertains women (even his wife) that men should do the same work in which results in a major change in married couples nowadays. Seeing all those stereotypes about Mr. Mom on the newspaper annoyed him in which they start noticing men who do their wives' work. With those types of newspapers and magazines with Mr. Mom articles, it will definitely change the future's perspective on what a husband and wife should do around the house.
I truly believe Mark's comment. It really is irritating to know that some dads doesn't want to help the mom by doing their job. Those kind of stereotypes about Mr. Mom on the newspaper really is annoying . I believe that the Mr. Mom articles will change the future's perspective.
Braiker got irritated by the movies and magazines about men who do the work at home, or what they called it "Mr. Mom". He doesn't like it because he thinks that not only women or mothers can do all things at home but men can do it also. Braiker did a really good thing to look after his daughter because he got to know her very well, and spent more time with her rather than work.
This comment is very true. I also believe that he did a great job in looking after his daughter and i know that the media drived him nuts. Seeing how they described men nowadays and how the stereotypes still continue, it's really hard to take in. Nice Comment.
I truly believe her comment because i know for sure that Braiker is really irritated by the media and the magazine's about Mr. Mom. I also know that Braiker doesn't like how the media shows that only the women can do the house work but not men. I really understand how she used her last sentence, because i know that Braiker did a good job at spending more time with his daughter.
Braiker got irritated by the movies and the article that he had read and watched, he found nothing interesting but to make his feeling more uncomfortable. Briaker's life is in reality not just making some unimportant thing in life. He designed his life to be more useful than any father he had known. Helping wife is the best way for have better connection with kids. Work together is the key for success in life.
Braiker pointed out that a father’s role today has changed since he was growing up. It infuriates him that the media still continues to portray a stereotype image of a stay-at-home father as incapable or less effective of raising their children. When in reality times have changed. Fathers of today choose to stay at home taking care of their children during their early years. Braiker indicated that he has found this experience very fulfilling and more rewarding than any paying job.
